To change the ring, the fuel filler cap is pressed in and turned. The existing ring can then be removed with a small screwdriver and the new ring inserted.

The tank cap with Ø 77 mm can be used for standard filler necks with bayonet lock. The new HEOSwater connector universal is supplied with 2 additional components. This means that the tank cap is also ideally suited for Dethleffs, LMC, TEC from model year 2010 and for water tanks with or without overflow. With the supplied seal, it can be used for water tanks with overflow.

If the second additional component (ring) is used, HEOSwater connector universal can also be used for filler necks with a small Ø (lid +/- 67 mm). Thanks to the spring-loaded sealing surface, there is no risk of overpressure in the water tank. In the event of slight overpressure, the HEOSwater connector universal opens automatically and air/water escapes from the filler neck.
